Music Review: Joshua Radin's The Rock and the Tide

I discovered Joshua Radin while I was in France. You may not know him by name, but his songs are used in various movies and T.V. shows. I was a huge fan of his first two albums, We Were Here and Simple Times. His music is super mellow with a bluegrass feel at times. I always pair it with a cup of tea and my newest issue of Dwell or Vogue.

His newest album, The Rock and the Tide, deviates from his usual sound. His songs have a new kick to them. "One Leap" and "Streetlight" are my favorites. They stay true to his sound, but are also sound fresh. I would highly recommend listening to one or all of his albums.
